Blue vs White Spring Football Game
Excitement!….is the word that just seems to keep coming through when you talk about the Midlothian football team. Spring football practice began a couple of weeks ago, and the atmosphere is bubbling over with excitement. There is nothing like seeing an athlete having fun at his sport. With every great effort, coaches and players are yelling YEY, jumping up and down, and patting each other on the back. The head coach Robby Clark said, “The atmosphere is filled with great attitude and optimism not only from the coaches, but the boys as well”.
We are all looking forward to a successful year. So many key elements are in place to have a great year for Midlothian football. We have great kids with incredible character stepping up as leaders on and off the field.
These boys have put a tremendous amount of work and time in on the off season. Coach Clark implemented a new work out program shortly after he and his coaching staff arrived two seasons ago. As I am sure many parents will attest to clothing bills and grocery bills, these boys have increased in strength, agility, speed and size. The work ethic of the coaching staff and the players is to be admired. Great things are being taught…. character, hard work, team work and selfless sacrifice for the betterment of the team. What a winning formula!!
